Description Allegro is a cross-platform library intended for use in computer games and other types of multimedia programming. It is used by many DOS games and can be used to port them easily to Linux. Allegro supports many kinds of input and output interfaces, e.g. X11 (Xlib or DGA), framebuffer, SVGAlib. . NOTE: you should install XFree86 to use the display output plugins. Alternatively, you can use the framebuffer output, or install the liballegro-plugin-svgalib on i386.
