Description | MAS (Media Application Server) is a set of packages that provide a network and platform transparent mechanism for delivering media (currently, just audio) from an application to a sound device. The architecture is very similar to X, and can be closely integrated with X. . This package contains the static libraries, headers, man pages, and documentation for the Media Application Server. Documentation is significantly lacking, and potential developers are encouraged to find additional documentation on the project web site
http://www.mediaapplicationserver.net/ . This package should be installed only if you intend to compile software that uses MAS. |
